University Of Iowa Community Credit Union Dropped RCA Rate...

from (4.25%, $25K) to (3.75%, $25K); effective  8/1/11.

I was about to fund this account yesterday, luckily I held my check:D

Advantage:

Still not a bad rate at all.

Disadvantagess:

1. Not in shared branch.

2. A minimum of $100 ACH deposit.

3. Average $5 per debit transactions for 12 monthly debit transactions. 

4. No free or starter checks.

This one is at (3.25%, $25K) now, quietly reducing the rate by 0.5% at a time.
