New-Branch CD & Checking Account Specials In Rochester, NY

A reader emailed me the following info about a CD special and other specials that are being offered by a new Five Star Bank branch in Rochester, New York. The bank branch doesn't open until 9:00am, so I haven't been able to get additional details:

Five Star Bank’s new branch in the Rochester, NY area (Chili Center)  is offering a 7-11 month CD at 2.05% , 500 min and 99,999 max.  Requires free checking account with $100 opening required.  There is also a MM account at 1% but it requires 10K to get that rate and a Home Equity Loan with $200 additional cash bonus  With each new account Five Star Bank ise also giving a $50 gift card to Wegmans Supermarkets.  Open both CD and Checking you get $100 in gift cards.  This is not posted on their website.  The telephone number is 585 889-5000.  Don’t know if its only available to locals or not.
