Jeff Davis Bank To Drop Rate On Kasasa Cash From 4.01% APY To 3.25% APY Effective 9/29/11, Cap Unchanged

Effective September 29, 2011

New Kasasa Cash structure

3.25% APY for balances at or below $10,000 that qualify

0.25% APY for balances above $10,000 that qualify

0.10% APY on all balances that do not qualify

New Kasasa Saver structure

1.25% APY for balances at or below $15,000 that qualify

0.25% APY for balance above $15,000 that qualify

0.10% APY on all balances that do not qualify

There was a time that all 5% RCAs disappeared over a six-month period; hopefully this is not a start of disappearance of all the 4% club members.

Sad to say, it looks like the 4%'ers are now an endangered species and will likely become extinct soon.

I got an RCA with Jeff Davis, but before I funded it they dropped the cap to $10K. At that small a cap, it wasn't worth the effort, so I closed the account. Now at 3.25%, it's really not worth the effort.

I agree. I'm thinking if i should move the money out of there soon.
