This Wall Street Journal article is another article that reviews the new debit card fees and their effects on customers. It suggests debit-card users shop around for no-fee bank accounts, carry cash as a backup and use a reward credit card smartly.

Unless people are after high interest from reward checking accounts or 2% cash back from PerkStreet Financial, I don't know why people are using debit cards instead of credit cards.
