5 Silver Linings Of Low Interest Rates

Surprisingly, none of the 5 silver linings involves loans. This list at Liz Weston's blog shows that she is a real optimist. One of the silver linings mentioned is that you save time since rate chasing isn't worth it for most cases. That reminds me of my post, When Do Savings Account Rates No Longer Matter.

We are at that point now. I'm staying with Ally Bank, even though they cut their rate again, for convenience sake.  It's nice to have all my other accounts linked with them and I still have the ability to write checks and use ATMs. Why chase a .15 percent more, it just isn't worth it.  It sucks but what can you do?
