Indianapolis Credit Union Expands Community Charter

Financial Center Federal Credit Union (0 stars) - Details
The NCUA has approved the expansion of Finance Center Federal Credit Union's field of membership. From the Credit Union National Association:
That $419 million in asset, 44,000-member credit union will now be able to draw membership from citizens that live, work, worship, or attend school in the greater Indianapolis area, including the surrounding counties of Boone, Brown, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Morgan, Putnam and Shelby. The credit union currently draws membership from Marion County.

One thing to note in this is that federal credit unions have to receive permission from the NCUA to change their fields of membership.

One nice thing about Finance Center FCU is that they offer a reward checking account. I first reported on this account in 2008.
