Retirement: Make Your Savings Last As Long As You Do

Sunday, December 4, 2011 - 8:35 AM
Most of the tips to make your savings last longer in retirement in this USA Today article are well known such as working longer, delaying social security and investing in immediate annuities. It does offer a pretty good discussion on immediate annuity strategies. On excerpt in this section:

Another strategy is to invest a small amount of your savings in an annuity every few years, Hebeler says.

Very informative article, Ken! People should really be reading this. Many people do panic about the thought of retirement. However, as long as you know where to put your money and how to manage your savings, there should be no worries regarding your future financial security.
