I'll have to go pop on over to Bankrate and read the article. I have been frustrated by the fact that the State of CA doesn't recognize the HSA contributions as pre-tax and thus have to pay state tax on that income.
I'm not surprised really though. The gov't can and will mess up practially anything that is actually helpful to the people.
