I got a letter offering me $25 to open a savings account with $10k and keep the $10k there through 12/31.

They only do a soft pull.

The deal expires 11/30. I have a promo code but It may be for me only.

Since their rate is a little less than I earn elsewhere, I figure I will open it around 11/29. I will lose less than $1 in interest but gain $25.

Says 6-8 weeks AFTER 12/31 to get the $25.

Pretty sad that the deals are so week that I am considering this.
