Feds Disclose New 401(k) Rules On Fees And Annuities

From the Wall Street Journal
The U.S. Labor Department took steps on Thursday to improve the disclosure of fees paid by millions of participants in 401(k) and other retirement-savings plans.

At the same time, the Treasury Department proposed regulations designed to make it easier for these plans to offer annuities to employees, saying such a move would improve the financial security of millions of Americans who are saving for retirement.
