PenFed first offered this to its Visa Platinum Cash Card members as an alternative to lower cash back for non-gas purchases. It now appears available to all members. If you sign up and make $1,000 in purchases in the first 3 months, you can earn 25,000 points that can qualify for a $250 gift card.
