Air Force Federal Credit Union Cited for Improper Membership

This is an example of a credit union getting into trouble with the NCUA for being too open in its field of membership. The ABA economist Keith Leggett has a useful summary of the NCUA's Letter of Understanding and Agreement.

Is it just me...or has this guy got something against credit unions in general???

I admit, it's a first to see someone start a blog that reports and highlights on credit union problems.  It's as though he's a disgruntled banker who opposes credit union.

Who could hate credit unions??  Only communists and Wall Street bankers!!!

The ABA, a lobby special interest group for banks, would love to screw the credit unions, because they see them as a competitive threat. This guy has been hired by the ABA to do just that. I have asked banking guy in the past not to support his blog. He is no friend to savers and depositers.

This is an attempt by the ABA to make this particular credit union the poster child for all credit unions. The ABA is nothing but a lobbying group out to destroy credit unions while at the same time defending the shenanigans of the big banksters.
