Bankrate Finally Updates Ratings with December FDIC Data

The FDIC database was updated on February 23rd with Q4 2009 banking data. After more than two months, Bankrate.com has finally updated its safe and soundness ratings based on this 12/31/09 data. BauerFinancial updates its ratings much quicker.

DepositAccounts.com now has our own ratings for the banks and credit unions that we cover, and these have long been based on the 12/31/09 data. Our ratings rely heavily on the Texas ratio. To see the ratings, use the search box on the right to find a bank or credit union.
