Bernanke's Confirmation for a Second Term?

There continues to be uncertainty if the Senate will vote for a second term for Bernanke. His policies haven't been kind to savers, but others could have been worse. For example, Paul Krugman thinks Bernanke has been overly concerned about inflation:

he has seemed deeply worried about defending himself against the inflation hawks, not at all concerned with the question of whether the Fed is doing all it should to fight catastrophically high unemployment.

It's hard to believe that people think Bernanke has been leaning towards the inflation hawks.
