Big banks try and make nice with you [CNNMoney.com]

Could it be that the campaign to move your money out of the big national banks in favor the community banks and credit unions has gathered enough momentum that the big banks are running scared? Frankly, if they want to "make nice," they should at least do three things: (1) raise their deposit rates to something more than pathetic; (2) keep their banking and credit card fees within reason; and (3) set interest rates on credit cards to something less than usurious. My guess is that they think a PR campaign is all they need.
