Comparing Cash Back to Reward Points Credit Cards

Which type of credit card do you prefer? Cash back or reward points? Jim at Bargaineering has a useful comparison of these two types of credit cards.

I want cash back. Forget about reward points. I don't want the merchandise that they offer anyway. Also the cash back options for reward point cards often is less than straight cash back cards.
