Dollar Savings Direct & Emigrant Direct Savings Account Rates Fall

Yields fell by 10 basis points at both Dollar Savings Direct and Emigrant Direct. Below is a summary of the savings account rate changes:

• Dollar Savings Direct is now 1.20% APY (was 1.30%)
• Emigrant Direct is now 1.00% APY (was 1.10%)

It's hard to believe Emigrant Direct's yield is now only 1.00%. I remember when they first launched in January 2005 when the yield was 3.00%.
