EBSB Direct Limits New Accounts to New England and New York State

EBSB Direct (0 stars) - Details
I just learned that EBSB Direct is now limiting new accounts to residents of New England and New York State. They have been offering two very competitive online CDs with a 1.77% APY for 10 months and 2.75% APY for 36 months. They also offer a money market account with a 1.67% APY for balances of at least $50K.

Please refer to my EBSB Direct review for more details.

I have nearly the FDIC maximum at this bank.  I hope they don't limit my ability to open new accounts.

Hello, for EBSB, how do I view my Tax form 1099 for the year 2009 for interest received ? Is it possible online ? I could not find it when I login online.

To Anonymous #2 and 3,

My Form 1099-INT was mailed to me.  It was not available online.  In fact, of the many bank accounts that I currently have, only ING Direct has that form online.  All of the remaining banks mailed that to me.  Oddly, ING Direct used to mail me that form too, but for some unknown reason stopped doing so.
