From the Wall Street Journal
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.'s board is expected to vote on Tuesday to extend for at least six months its program offering unlimited deposit insurance for business accounts, people familiar with the matter said.
Note, this isn't the $250K standard deposit insurance limit. The expected extension applies to the Transaction Account Guarantee program which allows unlimited deposit insurance coverage on checking accounts that pay no more than 0.50% in interest. Refer to this FDIC page
for more details on this program.
