FDIC floats plan to tie bank pay to fee levels [Reuters]

Tuesday, January 12, 2010 - 1:38 PM
From Reuters:
U.S. banks whose compensation plans encourage excessive risk-taking would have to pay more for deposit insurance under a proposal floated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp on Tuesday.
It's interesting to read about the disagreements with this plan inside the FDIC board. The FDIC issued a press relesase on this proposal this morning.
