Fewer Deals on Liquid CDs

I came across this review I did last September on nationwide liquid CDs. These include CDs that allow additional deposits and those that allow penalty-free withdrawals. I'm afraid rates have gone down a lot on some of these accounts including the ones offered by Ally, Amboy and Wilshire. There are two that are still good deals: 1.85% APY 13-month add-on CD at Choice Financial and the 2-year add-on CD at Northwest FCU.

Do you know of any new liquid CDs?

Speaking of liquid CD's, the rate of the 2-year add-on CD at Northwest FCU just dropped at dawn from 2.00% rate/2.02% APY to 1.90% rate/1.91% APY. Alas, the downward trend continues.

Thanks. Sorry to see the rate cut. I was worried the rate may be dropping today. That's why I didn't include the rate in the post.

Not to be outdone, Choice Financial also dropped the rate this morning on their rate builder 13 month add-on CD from 1.85% APY to 1.65% APY.
