High CD Rates Continue at Progressive CU in NYC - Unique Membership Requirement

Progressive Credit Union's CD rates have fallen since my November post, but they're still very competitive. As of 1/21/2010, two of their most competitive rates include a 2.27% APY 12-month CD and a 4.06% APY 60-month CD. The only problem is that to qualify for membership, you need a letter of recommendation from an existing member. Refer to my Progressive CU review for more details.
