Hoenig Says Fed Should Raise Rates Even With Unemployment High [Bloomberg]

From Bloomberg
Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank President Thomas Hoenig said the central bank should be prepared to raise the benchmark lending rate to 1 percent even when unemployment is above 9 percent.
In my opinion, Hoenig makes a lot of sense. I hope he can win some support in the FOMC. Hoenig was the lone dissenter in the last FOMC meeting.
