HSBC Direct Is Changing Its Name to HSBC Advance

I received an email from HSBC today with this news. The new name takes effect on 1/30/2010. Everything else is remaining the same. I'm not sure what was the issue with the name HSBC Direct. Perhaps their marketers thought the word "Direct" has become too common for internet banks. Refer to my old HSBC Direct review for general info about HSBC's online savings account.
