Penfed Keeps Its Competitive CD Rates into February

Pentagon Federal Credit Union kept its competitive long-term CD rates into February (3% 3yr, 3.25% 4yr and 3.50% 5yr). I was worried that the rates would fall. They typically only change rates at the start of the month, so these should last through the 28th. However, they no longer guarantee this so they could end early.

I have a PenFed 3 year CD maturing 2/7/10. When I called yesterday, I was told they have extended the 0.25% renewal bonus through 2/28 ... so I will receive 3.25% instead of 3.00%.
