This Boglehead thread discusses the changes some Chase customers are seeing to their Freedom Credit Card rewards. More people are receiving letters informing them of the elimination of the $250 check option (when you have accrued $200). Have you recently been downgraded by Chase?

I received a letter in October 2009 saying rewards was being modified (as in cheapened) and that Chase no longer would give $250 check on a $200 bonus.
