SunTrust's 3% CD and $150 Checking Bonus Promotions Continue - Available Nationwide

This CD special is becoming a better deal as other banks cut their CD rates. However, it's an unusual deal in that it requires 2 CDs: a 26-mo CD and a 49-mo CD. Both require equal deposits, and both have a 3.00% APY. This makes it hard to compare to other CDs. Perhaps comparing it to a 3-year CD would be fair?

Also, SunTrust's $150 checking account bonus is still available. The expiration date is 4/30/2010.
