Update on First Citizen Bank's 2% 11-Month CD in SoCal

On Sunday I posted on this 2% 11-month CD special at First Citizen Bank in Southern California that was being advertised in the newspaper. A reader commented that this special is only available at the branches of the former Temucula Valley Bank. The special and the branch locations are listed at this Temecula Valley webpage.

This is an example of why it's a good idea to keep an eye on the branches of failed banks. It's common for the bank that acquires the failed bank to offer some nice promotions.
