Warnings about Waiting Too Long to Raise Interest Rates

According to Reuters, Richmond Federal Reserve Bank President Jeffrey Lacker told reporters that the Fed "must not wait too long to raise interest rates and must not hesitate even if there is still tension in financial markets." Lacker is an inflation hawk like Thomas Hoenig, but unlike Hoenig, Lacker isn't a voting member on the FOMC this year.
