Bank of the Ozarks is advertising a limited-time offer 13-month CD Special (1.30% APY) in the Dallas Morning News. The minimum opening deposit is $1k of new money, with no stated balance cap. According CSR, the Early Withdrawal Penalty is six months interest.
This 13-month CD Special is only available at the nine Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex branch locations and does not appear on Bank of the Ozark’s website. CSR was not able to give me a definite end-date for this limited-time special, but he pointed out that previous Bank of the Ozark limited-time specials have lasted a couple months.

As stated above, this advertised 13-month CD Special is only available at the nine Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Bank of the Ozarks branches located in Allen, Carrollton, Frisco (2), Keller, Lewisville, Plano, Southlake, and The Colony.
Bank of the Ozarks does have account maintenance online banking features, but opening this CD Special requires an in-person visit.
