A counterfeit $100 dollar bill was given to me when I withdrew $2500.00 from my account. I used it for a purchase and was notified one of the bills was counterfeit. I notified the bank and tried to return it. I was told by the bank it was my responsibility to check the money before leaving the bank and they would not replace the bill.
