Financial Health FCU (IN) Has Top Rate 12-Month CD
Last week, Financial Health Federal Credit Union (Financial Health FCU) raised the rate on its 12 months Share Certificate (2.00% APY). The minimum opening deposit is $500 and there is no maximum balance cap.
This is the first, and very substantial, rate increase for this Share Certificate in over four years, with the APY hovering between 0.25% and 0.50% during that time.
The 12 months Share Certificate is also available as an IRA (Traditional, Roth, and CESA) earning the same 2.00% APY, with the same funding requirements.
As stated (and worded oddly) on Financial Health FCU’s Rates page, the Early Withdrawal Penalty reads as follows:
A 90 daily interest penalty will be imposed for withdrawal before maturity on certificates.
