Yesterday I reviewed a nice checking account bonus from Liberty Bank in Missouri. I came across a different Liberty Bank in Illinois with a larger bonus. This Illinois bank is Liberty Bank for Savings, and it's offering a $150 bonus for new checking account customers. It requires direct deposit, e-statements and online banking. The offer is listed at the bank's checking account page as of 8/14/2012. Below are the details to qualify for the $150:

- Sign up and receive a direct deposit of $500 or more
- Sign up for free e-statements
- Sign up for free Online Banking
- Complete the above requirements within 90 days of opening your new account
Below is a copy of the offer's small print:
The $150 bonus will be credited to your new checking account contingent upon fulfillment of the following conditions: a) The account must be established with an initial deposit of $300 or more. b) The initial credit transaction of $500 or more is received by Liberty Bank, representing the newly established recurring preauthorized transfer processed through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system. c) Enrollment into Liberty Bank’s eStatements and Online Banking services. The Liberty Checking account has a monthly maintenance fee, but this can be waived with a minimum balance of $200. Online bill pay is free. Also, the first order of checks is free.
