2.00% Reward Checking Account at an Oregon CU (Pacific Crest)

Pacific Crest FCU has a reward checking account that pays 2.00% APY on balances up to $25,000 (0.20% for above) and refunds ATM fees (up to $25 per month) if the following monthly requirements are met: 1) 10 check card transactions, 2) one electronic ACH deposit or withdrawal, and 3) receive eStatements. If these are not met, the rate falls to 0.10%. There are no monthly maintenance fees.
Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Klamath, Lake, Modoc, or northeast Siskiyou County. Please see their How to Join page for more details. Membership requires a one-time $5 fee and a minimum balance of $5 in the share savings account.
Branches are located in the Oregon cities of Klamath Falls and Lakeview. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 960). It has $96.7 million in assets and 13,692 members.
