Pasadena Service Federal Credit Union has several good deposit deals. First, it has several competitive rates on its CDs and IRA CDs. The best ones have terms from 2 to 5 years and require a minimum deposit of $10K. These include a 2.61% APY 5-year CD, 2.10% APY 4-year CD, 1.85% APY 3-year CD and a 1.55% APY 2-year CD. Another good deal is its checking account promotion. You can earn $50 for opening any of its checking accounts. The first $25 is given just for opening the account. The second $25 requires direct deposit. This is listed in the credit union's promotions page as of 10/12/2011.
One of the credit union's checking accounts is a high-yield reward checking account called High Yielding Checking.
