$150 Checking Account Bonus at a California Bank Continues (Provident)

POSTED ON BY

Provident Bank is still offering a cash bonus of up to $100 for opening a new checking account with a $100 minimum deposit. An additional $50 is given if your include direct deposit. The offer ends 11/30/07. Direct deposit must be established by 2/01/08.

I first posted on this deal on October 14th. A reader commented in that post that he visited a branch on Monday, opened an account and he received the first $100 yesterday. The commenter mentioned that Provident even has online ACH capability. So for those in SoCal, you still have a few days to take advantage of this deal.

Please refer to my previous post for more details on this promotion. Note, the offer doesn't seem to be listed at the bank's website. It was advertised in a SoCal newspaper. I had provided a link to the online ad, but this link isn't valid anymore.

Thanks to the reader who posted his experience with this promotion.
