Silver State Schools Credit Union is offering a 5.69% APY 36-month Jumbo Certificate. The minimum deposit is $100K. There's also a 5.69% APY 60-month IRA certificate with a minimum of $500 and a 5.59% APY 12 and 24-month IRA Jumbo Certificates with a $100K minimum.
In addition to employees and students of Nevada schools, the Field of membership includes sponsors of Las Vegas' PBS Television Station (KLVX). For other ways to qualify, please see the credit union's FOM page. Membership requires a minimum $100 deposit into your share savings account.
The credit union is not federally insured by the NCUA. Like Patelco, deposits held at the credit union are privately insured up to $250K per account by the American Share Institute (ASI). Financial reports of the credit union are available at this ASI page.
