Transwest Credit Union (Salt Lake City) is offering three CD specials: a 2-year CD (1.00%APY), a 3-year CD (1.51% APY), and a 5-year CD (2.07% APY). All three CD Specials have a minimum $1K initial deposit with a $50K cap, and can be opened at any of Transwest's five Salt Lake City metro branches. Membership in Transwest Credit Union may be opened at the time of CD purchase.
These CD specials are only available to members of Transwest Credit Union. Membership is limited to those who meet any of the following qualifications:
- Resident of Salt Lake County
- Employee of Union Pacific Railroad
- Employee of Kennecott Copper Corporation
- Employee of US Magnesium Corporation
- Immediate family member of a current Credit Union member
- Employee of Transwest Credit Union
