Walden Savings Bank is offering two competitive CD specials: a 2.00% APY 5-month CD and a 2.25% APY 10-month CD. Minimum deposit is $1,000. These rates are listed in the bank's deposit rate sheet as of 9/09/09.

It appears a branch visit is required to open an account. Branches are located in the New York cities of Circleville, Cornwall-on-Hudson, Gardiner, Newburgh, Montgomery, New Windsor, Pine Bush, Walden and Washingtonville.
