4.00% Reward Checking Account at a Missouri Bank (Wood & Huston)

Wood and Huston Bank is offering a reward checking account called Kasasa Cash that pays 4.00% APY for balances up to $25,000 (0.20% for above) and refunds ATM fees (up to $20 per cycle) if the following monthly requirements are met: 1) 12 Visa Check Card transactions, 2) one direct deposit or electronic debit, 3) access statements online and 4) login to view account at least once. If these are not met, the rate falls to 0.10%. The minimum deposit to open the account is $25. There are no monthly fees.

New customers must come into a branch to open the account. Branches are located in the Missouri cities of Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Marshall, Springfield and West Plains. The bank has been FDIC insured since 1934 (Certificate # 1060).
