Beware Of A New Fake Bank Website

A reader emailed me about CD offers that are being promoted on a new website. The website was promoting CDs that included a 15-month CD with a 3.30% APY and a 9-month No-Penalty CD with a 3.20% APY.

There are several similarities to the fake bank websites that I described in 2019. If you see a questionable website, check out my 2019 blog post in which I describe how to check if a bank website is legitimate.

Thanks Ken. I put your advice and phone numbers on Pages and then put the link on my desktop for quick access.
