Banking in the Medford Area
Medford is a city in southwest Oregon, very near the border with California. It has a city population of nearly 78,000 people and a metropolitan area population of 208,000 people, making it the largest metro area in southern Oregon and the fourth-largest in the state. Notable cities in the area include Grants Pass, Klamath Falls, Ashland, Central Point, Brookings, Yreka, Lakeview, Cave Junction, and Jacksonville.
Despite its size and importance as an economic hub of southwest Oregon, Medford has a very small banking industry. There are only three banks and four credit unions with their headquarters in the area.
