I am sure this post will be removed, but I can tell you that the auto lending department--more accurately, the people who you call to help if having problems, or even anticipating any difficulties, paying back a car loan--will NOT work with you. They are so rude on the telephone that you cannot speak to them. They also personally attack you and call you names. I have not defaulted on my car loan--just called to discuss options. The auto department was only interested in having me surrender the car and not working with me at all. I am STUNNED that they took this approach and became so nasty about it. Get your car loan elsewhere unless you will never need help with it until it's paid off!
I experienced a very similar situation! I was told one day that I owed 1 more payment. While in the process of trading my car in I was informed that I owed $778 and change as opposed to the $99.84 payment. 653.00 more. When I was transferred to the "supervisor," the "gentleman" proceeded to pick a fight with me. My car was never repossessed! He refused to discuss this with me and proceeded to hang up on me! Here I was sitting at the dealership trading the car in!!!! I attempted to call back several times was transferred to an answering machine! When the dealership called he tried to pick a fight with her!!!! Extremely unprofessional! I will be reporting this behavior!
Completely unprofessional!! Made a call to make an auto loan payment. Spoke to Ron the "collection manager". I was degraded, yelled at, humiliated and hung up on. unfathomable that such an arrogant, rude, and unprofessional individual can hold any type of postion where he would have to interact with the public. He gives Franklin Security a bad name. Would never do business with them again! They don't deserve 1 star!
