AVOID MET BANK!
1 stars - Anonymous - Tuesday, July 10, 2012 - 1:02 PM

I have had the worst banking experience in my life with this institution. They have started charging me a monthly service fee in the last 4 - 5 months. They charge you for using a foreign ATM on top of the fee you pay to the other institution. They charge 29.00 for overdraft, which you will pay twice if this happens. The bill pay system is set up to pay the debtor THEN check the account for funds instead of checking for funds BEFORE issuing the payment. I have another account with Amarillo National Bank that has NEVER given me ANY of these issues. I only wanted to get a bank near where I live. They WILL take advantage of you and try to make you feel subhuman.

We Love Our Bank!

My wife and I have had both personal and business checking accounts and a savings account with Metropolitan National Bank for about 5 years now. We also have a safe deposit box at our local branch. The employees at our local branch know us by name and are always very friendly. We have had zero issues with any of our accounts and have been nothing but happy with all of the services that we have used. We HIGHLY recommend Metropolitan!
