I was wondering what you generally see as the trend in CD rates in the near term? I have a WAMU cd coming due at the end of September. 6% is my current yield and I am tempted to put it in the Orange checking at ING for 5.05 but for something higher I am willing to wait a little while.

Based on what happened Friday, it looks like rates may be heading down. Please see my Friday 's post for more discussion.
