5.05% 12-Month CD at a North Carolina Bank (Blue Ridge Savings).

Blue Ridge Savings Bank is offering a 5.05% APY 12-month certificate of deposit. The minimum deposit is $1,000. Since the rate table didn't have a date, I called the bank. I was told this rate is still available. The CSR didn't know when this might change. A branch visit is required to open accounts.

Branches are located in the North Carolina cities of Asheville, West Asheville, Boone, Maggie Valley, Fletcher, Stanley, Brevard, Hendersonville and Greer. The bank is a member FDIC (Certificate # 32347).
