Checking Account Bonus up to $150 at CoreFirst Bank & Trust in Colorado - Local Only

CoreFirst Bank & Trust is offering up to $150 for opening an account with the bank's Incentive Checking Program. This promotion doesn't appear to be listed on the bank's website. It was advertised in the 8/16/09 edition of the Denver Post. The ad is available online here.

According to the small print of the ad, the Incentive Checking program requires direct deposit of payroll or other monthly credit to obtain incentive. Another important note in the small print is that the amount of incentive varies depending on account type/types opened. Refer to the bank's checking accounts page to see the accounts available. Some of them require a large balance to avoid monthly fees.

The bank had been offering some very competitive CD rates, but the rates have just recently fallen (see post).

Branches are located in the Denver metro area. There are also branches in Kansas, but I'm not sure if this checking account promo is available outside of Colorado.

The bank has been FDIC insured since 1959 (FDIC Certificate # 18100).
