Magnify Credit Union is offering several competitive regular and IRA certificate rates. The rates as listed in the credit union's rates page as of 9/25/09 include:
Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Polk County and certain areas of Hillsborough County. Also, a relative of someone who lives or works in these areas is eligible to be a member. Please refer to the credit union's FAQ page for more details.
Branches are located in the Florida cities of Mulberry, Winter Haven and Bartow.
The credit union's ratings for safety and soundness are above average: 4 stars (excellent) at BauerFinancial (based on 6/30/09 data) and 3 stars (performing) at Bankrate.com (based on 3/31/09 data). The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 68344). Note, the credit union recently changed names from Community First to Magnify.
