Magnify Credit Union is offering several competitive regular and IRA certificate rates. The rates as listed in the credit union's rates page as of 9/25/09 include:

• 2.00% APY 6 month
• 2.25% APY 12 month
• 2.30% APY 15 month
• 2.60% APY 24 month
• 2.80% APY 30 month
• 2.90% APY 36 month
• 3.00% APY 42 month
• 3.16% APY 48 month
• 3.60% APY 60 month

Minimum deposit is $500. You can get an additional 10 basis points on the above rates for terms of 24 months and longer for a minimum deposit of $50,000.

Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Polk County and certain areas of Hillsborough County. Also, a relative of someone who lives or works in these areas is eligible to be a member. Please refer to the credit union's FAQ page for more details.

Branches are located in the Florida cities of Mulberry, Winter Haven and Bartow.

The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 68344). Note, the credit union recently changed names from Community First to Magnify.
