CSE CU (LA) Reward Checking (3.25%, $10K)

The credit union is rated 4-stars.  Although the balance cap is low, it may be of interest to some.  

Requirements are standard:

            $50.00 Minimum Initial Deposit 

• Have at least 12 debit card transactions post and clear per qualification period
• Have at least one Direct Deposit, or ACH Auto Debit, or Bill Pay post and clear per qualification cycle
• Access Online Banking
• Receive Monthly eStatements

As a welcome change, the dates of the qualification periods are posted on their website.

The CSR told me you can qualify for membership if a direct relative (example:  parent, sibling,  but not aunt, cousin, etc) is a member of the CU of if you work for one of their Select Employee Groups, most of which appear to be based around the Lake Charles, LA area.
