Citzens State Bank Offers 2.05% APY 5-Year CD Available Nationally Online

It looks like they have competitive savings (+$1K @ 1.01% APY) and money market accounts (+$10K @ 1.05% APY) too. Nationally available, too?

I reviewed this bank early this month, and I confirmed that these accounts were available nationwide. Here's the blog post link.

When I first did the post, their rates page had not been updated. The rates page is now updated with these rates.

I am in the market for an IRA CD and was hoping to take advantage of this offer.  Unfortunately IRA CDs can be opened only in person at the bank, and the bank charges a $25 fee to transfer the IRA to another institution if you close out the account after the CD matures.  This is the response I got when I emailed them:

 

Thank you for your interest in our IRA/CDs. If you choose to close out your IRA/CD at maturity to transfer the funds to a different financial institution, then you be subject to a $25 close out fee. There is no fee to move funds to a different type of IRA/CD within our bank. However, at this time, we are only able to open IRA/CDs in person at our branches. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Citizens just cut .25% from this today; new APY=1.80%.
